When I wake up I try to do two very important things for myself. I always get on my knees and say a quick prayer and then I follow up with a few things I am grateful for at the time. My list is the same some days and different others. I sometimes wake up not feeling one hundred percent grateful and that is ok. The importance is taking those moments out for myself before I start my day. Starting it with a grateful heart. Centering myself before the craziness of my day begins. Trust me when I say my days don’t always go well. However, those moments in my day that I start on my knees I have a much better chance of being positive than the days I don’t. My life is currently extremely fast paced. Sometimes when I try to simplify, life happens and I get busier. I can’t complain about all of the wonderful things happening but sometimes my health catches up to me. It can be frustrating dealing with chronic illness...
